Mountain Bike Orienteering is for anyone who loves being outdoors, likes a challenge & is keen to discover new trails. You can take part if you have an off-road bike & a reasonable understanding of how to read an OS Map. You can even take the kids with you as a Generation Team. 3 Hours Small Area Format (SAF) League Event The A4 competition map will comprise of 12 Red & 12 Blue Controls (CPs). Choose to start by collecting Red CPs or Blue CPs, it up to you but you will only be able to collect CPs of that colour in any order. Then at any point you can switch to the other colour CPs. How many of each colour you choose to collect is up to you, but once you have changed you can’t change your mind and revert to the original colour. If you do punch the wrong colour by accident don't worry you can carry on, but it wont count until you formally decide to change colours then you will need to revisit it later on if you want the points. 2 Hour Score Taster Event. The A4 competition map will comprise of 12 Red CPs, and 12 Blue CPs. Collect as many Controls as you can in the 2 Hours limit of any colour and in any order you like, but don’t be too late back. Toilets are available at the HQ and post-event hot refreshments will be on offer. Also donations for our chosen charity will be gratefully received on the day. Graduated Entry Fee, earlier you enter the lower rate: Over 14 Days, Member £12, Non-Member - £13, U18 £6 13 - 7 Days, Member £14, Non-Member - £15, U18 £8 Under 6 Days, Member £19, Non-Member - £20, U18 £10 Entry on the Day is permitted at the - Under 6 Day rate, but please email us to reserve a paper map and SI Dibber.
