The SouthernXC MTB Race Series is a long standing annual championships that has a long history, stretching back for over 20 years.

Each and every year the series entertains over 1000 riders, some of whom join us for their first competitive cycling experience after enjoying trail centres like Swinley Forest and QE Country Park, some whom may have tried their hand at Enduro or DH in the past and others have been with us since the beginning, it doesn’t matter what your gender, age or experience is there is a category for you, where you will be surrounded by other riders in a similar position – from tiny guys and girls in the Under 9’s enjoying their first mountain bike racing fix, to weekend riders looking for a competitive experience all the way through to seasoned cross country racers back for another great year of mountain bike racing.

You’re are more that welcome to join us for as many rounds as you like, if you can only make one then that’s cool, it’ll be good to see you, equally if you fancy a season long battle then it’ll be nice to see you on a regular basis.

The 2020 series will be contested over 5 rounds, The Winchester MTB Race, The Reading MTB Race, The Basingstoke MTB Race, The New Forest MTB Race and The Pippingford Park MTB Race, each venue offers different challenges ensuring that the series champion is a strong well rounded mountain biker with a good mix of skills and fitness.
