RIDE IT is a series of non-competitive cycle events taking place across the country and aimed at riders of all abilities. At our rides you’ll find a choice of fully waymarked routes, well stocked feed stations sponsored by High 5 Sports Nutrition, mechanical and sweeper van support if things go wrong, electronic chip timing to record your ride and a finishers medal waiting for you at the end.

Brecon Beacons has been a regular fixture on the RIDE IT calendar and 2020 sees the event elevated to challenge ride status with a tough 50 mile 'endurance' route option.

It's a 5 out of 5 on the difficulty scale so expect some climbs of epic proportions followed by downhills to match. Starting at the fantastic Parc Bryn Bach in Tredegar, riders will climb towards Trefil before heading towards the stunning Talybont Reservoir and a host of exhilarating forest trails. Pentwyn and Pontiscill Resevoirs await, making the most of terrain made for mountain bikers. The endurance route option also includes the classic Brecon Beacons Gap Road over to Talybont-on-Usk should be on every mountain bikers bucket list.

The scenery on this route is some of the best in the UK, and when combined with the awesome single track and demanding terrain, makes for a brilliant day of mountain biking.
