Welcome to the opening round of the 2020 Welsh Cycling Mountain Bike Cross Country Series #WelshMTBXC. Following the disappointment of the 2019 Series, we've gone all-out for 2020 and have SIX round within the Series as well as Championship event at the end to finish the season off in style.

With races for U6s through to Adults including Fun categories for beginners / novices, this promises to be a fantastic first round of the Welsh MTB XC Series 2020 at a BRAND NEW venue to the Series here at the Forest of Dean.

We've worked hard with the owners of Pedalabikeaway Centre here at Forest of Dean in the run-up to the event, and we've got a fantastic ourse set-up with plenty of variation that will challenge riders of all ability.

Entry to the Park: Please note entry to the Car Park is £5 per vehicle - this will not be within the entry fee.

With a cafe near the start/finish area and a massive car park, the event village is very close to the lot. Please follow event signs to race village / sign on area and bring the family and enjoy a friendly day watching or taking part. Toilets are available on site as well as a cafe, so please make the most of the hot refreshments and food available.
