At the heart of the Lake District, amongst the forest and hills, lies the Crank It Grizedale forest race course. Aside from the iconic course, the venue features a tree topping Go Ape Grizedale, the Grizedale Café, and for those younger adventurers amongst you, the Gruffalo trail. This provides plenty for everyone to do, once they have given it their all out on the course.
Parking is within the event arena and is on private land manged by a local farmer. You will be able to see sign-on from the parking area. We have negotiated a flat rate for parking here at £3 per vehicle collected on entrance.
The main Visitors Centre car park is further away and competitors and spectators using this car park will need to pay the full visitors centre parking rates. This car park is monitored by AMPR Cameras. You need to pay here on your exit but it will be more expensive.
