First run in 2007, this popular event will take place on 29 September this year. The event format is unchanged, with riders leaving at their assigned start time, at one minute intervals, and making their way around the 26km course at Innerleithen. Riders will be given a time and ranking for their time on the whole course, and also timed on the final descent with a split time given on that section, and a King and Queen of the Hill prize awarded. (Yes, we did in fact run the first ever MTB Enduro in Scotland !!). The Alistair Lees Memorial trophy will be awarded to the fastest Vet Male.

We are also pleased to announce that for 2012 this race will incorporate the East of Scotland Cycling Associate (ESCA) Champs, with medals for Senior Male, Junior Male and Female 16+. BC members who are members of a club in the ESCA region (Lothian and Borders) are eligible. Please make yourself known at registration if you wish to contest the ESCA Champs.

Entry is £20 and via the British Cycling online entry system. We will take entries on the day if places are available, pre-entered riders are seeded with the fastest riders off last.

We will need marshals, and will give a free entry if you can provide a marshal.

Start times will be published on this website on the Friday before the race. Get in touch if you have any preference in this respect [email protected] but if we think you might be slow we can’t put you out late, we want to get home for our tea.

09.00 – 10.45 – sign-on and registration
09.45 - Marshal Briefing
10.30 – 10.40 - RIDER BRIEFING ALL RIDERS MUST ATTEND
11.00 – 12.40 – race laps start
15.00 - 16.00 (ish) – podiums – we will advertise more precise time on the day
