Cross country Mountain Bike racing is off-road cycle racing that takes place in a variety of off-road venues.
Mountain Bike racing is often held in parkland, woodland, and forestry sites.
These venues are designed to include climbs, decent and other technical features.
Anyone can enter no matter what their age, ability or bike.
Provided they have a helmet, and their bike is in good working order.
There is a category for everyone and separate races for younger riders.
Podium/prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category.
Events are organised by local cycling clubs and take place across Wales at weekends from March to September. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and included courses that are well-planned and safe.
