The fourth and final round of the Aberdeenshire Enduro Series 2023 (#AES2023) is to be set at the brand new Tarland Trails center just outside Tarland. Aberdeenshire first ever trail center is going to bring alot of excitement to the area and allow many new people an easier access into the amazing sport of mountain biking. The event will also coincide with the Tarland Food & Music Festival, meaning it will be a great weekend to be in Tarland, no matter what! The trails consist of sweeping turns, big berms, jumps, technical riding and will have you whooping as you race down the trails!

An enduro race is where riders are timed in stages that are primarily downhill, with neutral transfer stages in between. The event route will be around 35km long with 1000m of climb and include 5-7 timed single track stages. The lite route will be a bit shorter with less climb, by omitting the trickiest stage. The routes are aimed to be rideable by reasonably competent mountain bikers, with the lite being slightly easier both technically and endurance wise. If you’re new to this location, or riding in enduros, plenty of local coaching and guiding companies, including some of our fantastic sponsors, will be able to help you get familiar with Tarland and provide some helpful riding tips, before the race.

Our one day events have a fun and friendly atmosphere. We attract all levels of rider, from the seriously competitive, to those just looking for a brilliant day in the hills in good company.
