The QECP Mountain Bike Trails are entirely maintained by volunteers, and we need your help! No experience necessary.

The task will be on the Middle Blue Trail, clearing trail for soil deposits, re-building berms , improving drainage. Please meet at 4pm in Upper Juniper Car Park. If you arrive later please meet us on the trail.

The QECP Trail Collective are a group of mountain bikers and their friends & families, who want to ensure that the trails in the park are safe, fun to use and suitable for various levels of experience.

The 'dig days' at QECP involve manual labour using a selection of tools, including spades, rakes, hoes and mattocks. While this will be of particular interest to those who use the trails, it is not just for mountain bikers. No riding is required on dig days! All volunteers can leave with a sense of satisfaction of a good session's work, some great 'before and after' shots, some new skills, and having met some new likeminded people.

Health and safety is very important, all new volunteers will be given a tool & task talk. This is for your safety and that of others, whilst you are volunteering. We highly recommend bringing water, snacks, gloves, long trousers and appropriate sturdy footwear. Along with sunscreen(/or waterproofs!), hat and insect repellent. You will be in the woods and therefore need to be mindful of ticks.
