Grab your bike and test yourself on the undulating terrain of Cannock Chase and surrounding areas!

This gravel ride is a fantastic opportunity to test yourself on a pre-planned route of around 30 miles on the best mixed terrain Cannock Chase & surrounding areas of South Staffordshire & Shropshire have to offer, 90% of the ride is off road, and you’ll also be helping a local and passionate rider.

This gravel has been organised to help and support local rider and racer Evie Strachan, who is apart of the British Cycling Olympic development squad. Evie Strachan is a passionate racer who wants to progress in her sport by racing abroad next season. In this ride we hope to promote some of her favourite routes in order to encourage donations to help fund expenses to achieve her goal to travelling to more world cup UCI races to improve her world ranking and gain experience.

The route is a single loop which at its furthest will take you approximately 20 miles from the Milford start point. The prioritises gravel and fire roads to create more enjoyable ride for all but also uses road and canal paths so there is something in everyone comfort zone.

Please be aware this is NOT a signposted event. You will be required to navigate your way around using the supplied GPX file.

This event is open to anybody & everyone but please be mindful that you are out at your own risk. Run & Ride take no responsibility for you & your bike when you are riding the route.

There’s a complementary coffee & cake (1 each per rider) back at the store for every finisher when your entry confirmation email is presented to one of our team at the time of ordering.
