The FREERIDERS SUPER JAM...

The FREERIDERS SUPER JAM is a growing annual event aimed at promoting the sports of BMXing and Mountain Biking at Dirt-Track level in Leicester. Supported by the Leicester City Council this season’s FREERIDERS SUPER JAM is happening on Saturday 5th July at 10.00am until 8.00pm at the ‘Trails’ (BMX track) on the Hinckley Road side of the Western Park in Leicester.
ALL ages and levels of cycling experience are welcome to this all day (FREE) event. Young children (accompanied by an adult), teenagers, flatlanders, street riders, professionals and old cyclists, will each find cycling inspiration here.
Following the tragic death of Pav (a local FREERIDER) both new and experienced FREERIDERS are asked to wear protective clothing including helmets while out on the jumps this season. Advanced Riders can also enter into both the ‘High Jump Competition’ and/or the ‘Freestyle Jump Competition’ for FREE on the day.
The family / party atmosphere of the FREERIDERS SUPER JAM is further enhanced by a selection of local DJ’s, MC’s and Live Artists powered by the FREE DEM SOUND SYSTEM courtesy of DE JAH VU Promotions. Refreshments and ice creams will be available all afternoon. Family picnics (bring your blankets), dogs on leads, extreme sports photographers, and mindful cyclists all welcome.
Saturday 5th July, 10.00am until 8.00pm. Fasten on your safety helmets and cycle on down to Western Park for Leicester’s original FREERIDERS SUPER JAM experience. First Aid and Lost Children areas covered. Please use the litter bins provided!!!
