really nice build, good to see the spds and the seatpost is great, really pissed me off not being able to drop it down. Ended up sawing the dam thind off. nice shock-guard too, mudguard does look a bit funny though.

Lose the mud-guard!
Release the animal within!

Crank protectors made of inner tube??
U have waay too much time!

I'd like to see it lookin more GRRR!

It's got lots of potential, great reviews in MBR when they had one as a long termer.

I think the paint job looks a bit bland, but I love the custom chain stay protector and crank guard. What does that do btw?- Your cranks are silver and wont really fade.
Gr8 lot of kit.

People who say they don't like Mongoose haven't tried them. I bought one of these for my mate off ebay at a bargain price of £450 and it was only 18 months old and hardly used. He's had great fun on his. They have a great spec and ride really well. The colour is the same as well. Have a 10 on me mate, great ride and great spec.(please rate mine)

Also I too am not a lover of mudguards but in the winter it stops a wet butt and means I can ride without waterproofs.

dont like those seatposts and dont think there is any point on a full susser but mostly good stuff

Dingo2024 replied... on 18 February 2008

Hi, for the type of mixed riding I do (real ups and real downs)the seatpost works really well. Only downside is the cost.
