My original bike now very highly altered, an early 1995/6 steel Voodoo that I got as a frame for my 21st birthday
Yes it looks wierd with those bars but it is now used for commuting and road / training / towpath rides and is fun is a cyclocross kind of way (I have offroad tyres too and its quite sketchy taking it offroad built like this!)
XT gears and chainset with DuraAce road bar end shifters
XTR V Brakes with Avid levers
Pace RC31 rigid carbon forks
Easton carbon seatpost and stem
Cahrge Spoon saddle and bartape on a Charge bullhorn 'Plug' bar (450mm wide)
Snowflake spoke pattern front wheel I built myself sometime around 1994 and its still running true!
I love this bike it has had hundreds of different builds over the years and however it is built it always rides so brilliantly
I understand this was one of the first Joe Murray built Voodoo's (when they were still handmade in USA) and it has frame number 0037

I agree they do! they look stupid as hell but they give a good position for head down commuting
