nice bike but its too standard its the way it came outa the factory. i also have a p2 but the cromo version its much better.

I have a 2007 p2 and I live it! I had to change the allen bolt seat clamp to a hope quick release, the brown seat and grips to a grey and red DMR void saddle and graphite grey and anodised red Lizardskin Peaty lock on grips. The Specialized pedals were replaced by Kona Wahwahs and the front wheel was wrapped in a DMR moto digger with the existing tyre going on the back.Ive just ordered Avid juicy 7s for this bad boy with 203 and 185 rotors since the Hayes So1es are terrible, especially with discobrake medium pads instead of decent sintered ones when I replaced.The rims are the next on the list to be upgraded.I love the red P disc hubs even though I have had to service them once to re-grease and have tightened the cones a few times. Also the dereilleur is indestructible. Love the chunky axles and bombproof Hustlefelt stem and crankset, after nearly 2 years I've never had to touch the bottom bracket and the loosball headset cups are in great condition although I have serviced the bearings a few times.. Bars are still there as i love them, as is the bash guard and chain device, although the roller is crap and I would like a sealed bearing one.Lastly the forks are still on the bike and I love them. They are amazing for street and dirt as well as freeride and trails. They have recently started seeping oil so I am going to have them checked.Bottom line - this is a sweet ass bike but is in need of a few upgrades from stock.

Yea, I'd change the Rims to start with.
But overall they're pretty nice bikes.

And people who are saying they are too commen, please STFU!
