Nice bike mate. I've just bought the same to try to get back inti mtbing and i'm looking to upgrade it over the next couple of months as all bike i've had in the past have been better spec. Is it much lighter now?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Actually this bike nolonger exists in this form. I sold the frame and the rest of the parts are spread between my Norco Bigfoot and GT Chucker, but it was a super light XC hardtail and I often wish I had left it as it was. It's a great value bike and I'm sure you will enjoy yours.
Thanks for the rating. I've recently sold that frame and used all the kit on my Norco, but will be getting another GT frame soon, an Avalanche or a Zaskar probably. Cheers
Thanks for the rating. It now has Mavic wheels with hope gold hubs, but I don't know how to update the pic. Specializeds are great bikes, but I like to buck the trend a bit ;) Next build will be a Norco
Thanks for your comment. I find the BB7's great.Good power and modulation, and dead easy to adjust with no tools needed. I think they're a good choice if you can't afford a decent set of hydraulics.
Much upgraded Aggressor XC3.
Fox Vanilla fork
Truvativ Hussefelt 2+bash cranks
Avid BB7 brakes
XT 9 speed gearing
FSA bar, stem and seatpost
V8 pedals
Upgraded this over time from the basic model. Most of the parts are second hand off Ebay, ect.
Don't know what you guys think, but it's my baby and I love it:)

Like the setup. Don't see cable disks on Fox Forx much or double and bash on an xc. But it's not far off my setup!
Nice one!

The system's a bit screwy when you can get to 1st based on just 1 vote. That's no reason to vote it down on purpose though. Thanks anyway
