I too considered the dawg, but definitely wanted the extra inch of fun with the coiler. Nice bike though.

thanks all, well its my 1st Kona & I bought it as I wanted to see what all the fuss was about on them. I've rode Specialized since about 86/87(various bikes),Muddy fox from the late 80's,Grisley's,Dave Yates,custom build etc - But I am more than happy with the Kona for all day riding -Not really much use for anything 'more downhill' on the South Coast,the Kona does the job well.

I was offered them at a bargin price thats all when I was looking about,They added a slight bit of weight - but bomb proof,plus the gold goes well with the blue(a lame excuse I know!!)
