love it mate... got the same bike and im slowly copying your upgrade list... :-)

Dolbe replied... on 26 March 2011

Cheers dude.
Since that picture I have added a Goodridge cable kit and maxxis high rollers DH 2.35 60a back, 2.5 42a super tacky front and an SRAM X7 rear derailer. its improved the shifting, and the handling is much better with the new tyres. which means more confidence, and faster more adventurous trails. :-)

10 cos its a goose and there the way forward!

Dolbe replied... on 3 May 2010

cheers dude, yes mongoose is the way forward. more and more mongoose bmx riders are moving up into mongoose mountain bikes. I started with an 81 supergoose bmx, the progression is natural.

looks lush really like the colour

Dolbe replied... on 25 April 2010

true, the only year the teocali got 150mm rear travel. It was 145mm in 07 and in 09/10 it is 145mm travel.

owenthemtbr replied... on 23 April 2010

2008 the best year for mongoose

nice bike but you wanna get rid of the shock boot cos they do more damage than good

Dolbe replied... on 10 April 2010

The shock boot gets cleaned after every ride to ensure no damage occurs. I have had the shock over a year and use the shock boot since i got it. she shock is still in pristine condition. I can understand if it was not cleaned it would turn into an abrasive boot. it has saved my shock from some serious mud over the last year so it cant be all that bad.

Rear wheel will be upgraded later this month hopefully

Dolbe replied... on 3 March 2010

I will have to update my bikes picture now I have put the RS Lyrik 2-step air forks and Halo SAS pro wheel on. the bike has been transformed. now all I need is a back wheel to match.

still more upgrades to come soon. firstly hopefully a set of RS Lyriks (white of course) I am just getting conflicting reports whether the 08 teocali can take a 1.5" steerer if I remove the 1-1/8" reduced steerer and put a 1.5" headset instead then it would take the 1.5" Lyriks as they are cheaper than the 1-1/8 versions.

or go completely off the other way and go for the 2010 Rock Shox Revelation Team Dual Air Forks and save a bit of money in the process although i will be giving up the 35mm stanchions and some of the rigidity
