This is my new puppy! Rides like a dream only had it up Choppy Woods up to now - SRAM X.0 derailier, Industry nine wheels are sweet, Sunline handlebars, 2-Step Lyriks, raceface seatpost, DMR V12 Magnesium pedals (as the remotely adjust seatpost was 'missing' by the time it made it to Evns..and a Fox DHX 5 Air rear shock.

love the LT1, nearly got one myself but couldnt quite stretch the funds at the time so settled for the LT2, love the wheels on it.
swap those kenda's for conti supersonics, you'll be amazed at the weight it saves and how much faster and effortless it becomes to ride

yes mate, got the Iodines back in Jan and loving them, slightly pee'ed off that they released a new model of them now, although i dont like the new colours on them, they have reduced my ones by a couple hundred quid....typical lol

Alright dude,
Just seen your posts there (I haven't logged on for some time).. Did you get hold of a set of iodines in the end then.? If so what do you think? I know what you men about the High Rollers like - I've been 'cycling' to work a couple of days a week and they kick out a lot of traction. If I had the dosh I'd fancy a 29er for commuting.

love the industry 9 wheels btw, i just ordered a set of iodines for mine which will hopefully look almost as good, fingers crossed they will arrive later this week

Roll on summer! the snow wasnt bad enough to keep me off the saddle down here in london but I'm still looking forward to enjoying the better weather to ride in. my brother just tried the high rollers, he was impressed with the grip downhill as i was with my old kenda's but he reckons it was like riding in cement compared to his old conti's cos of the rolling resistance and is going back to them

Aye, cheers for the tip mate! I wore the Nevegals down by August and have had a set if Maxxis High Rollers on since then. I'm itching to get out on it again - the snow's keeping me out the saddle for now. Dug out me snowboard instead!

its brilliant!
how light is it?
and how you finding the tyres? are they 2.35?

Yeh man, awesome ride like. It kicked me in the arse though over at Beamish Woods, trying to jump a fallen tree/log and went over the handlebars. I really should learn the noble art of trail building before I atempt sketchy jumps/drops! Up to now tho I'm loving the beefyness but balanced feel of it. The Industry 9 wheels are awesome like.. I took the front one off, held the hub and give it one single spin snd it just kept on turning, and turning, and turning some more. ABEC bearings or something. Smooth rollers! I can't wait for this tissue damage to heal so I can take it somewhere like Hamsterley or Kielder and give it a sesh. Oh yeh, the tyres are Kenda Nevegals 2.35. Plenty clearance although I'm hoping not to buck the wheels in a hurry!. It seems as fast as my FSR XC even though the tyres are wider. I think it will handle really well on trick switchbacks that previously might have had me dabbing a foot here and there..

I'm not usually a fan of Norcos but I do like the look of this one. Good spec as well.
