Great bike nearly brought one last week but went for the Stab Supreme instead I shall put some pictures on over the weekend. the suspension setting are soft out of the box don't put any more oil in the forks you need to adjust your preload and rebound to get the ride you want don't stiffen it up too much the 888's have got plenty of travel you won't bottom them out! Looks like you don't have any tension on the preload on your rear shock wind down the spring and measure the sag look in the users manual for sag setting.
but that may turn them into marzocchi ejectariders....... fit firmer springs to tune them properly. i had to get the firm springs for my 06 888's and they still bottom out!
Tweeked rear shock and that is a brilliant feel. Been playing with the preload and rebound and got it set right on paper, just need to try it properly.
Has it ever been used? It looks brand spankers. Never been a fan off Kona's looks but I've got to stand corrected 'cos this number looks sweet. Looking to get some DH action myself, any bikes you'd point out for entry level?
The photo is took the day it came out of the box! Hasn`t had much use mind as I have recently broke my wrist. This is my first dh/freeride bike and got it for 1600 quid from 2800 so i`m not going to be able to give much advice.
Yea i know but compared to my little dirt bike its so smooth! Suspension too soft at moment. Needs some oil added. New so haven`t tried it out properly yet.

If you are used to air forks the 888's are a bit soft, turn the rebound up it will slow the fork action and make them less spongy on the level ground.

Still think they too soft but like I said, need to try it out PROPERLY!
