You say you use it for DH, Whats that like on a hardtail?

orangemsisle replied... on 12 February 2009

It's quite a bit more tech than on a dually, and a real back killer if you like riding at speed (=

wud prefer to c it in its down hill form, luv the pedals. how does it handle DJ?

orangemsisle replied... on 20 June 2008

I'll upload some pics of the bike with the 888's on it as soon as I transfer them to a computer (=

orangemsisle replied... on 20 June 2008

Handles DH and DJ VERY well... excels in both aspects of riding. I've even found the DJ1's to be good on the downhill runs.

yeah a bit too front 'travel' heavy for me - 6" is the max i'd put on a missile & just ride smoother....
i like teh rest of the spec though

orangemsisle replied... on 11 June 2008

i ride plenty smooth thx - just need 8" for the 10+ foot drops and such that I do over here in Canada eh (=

orangemsisle replied... on 9 June 2008

I have 2 different setup's for this bike. DH and DJ. For DJ I put on the Marzocchi DJ1's w/ 5" travel.
