Just bought a 2010 Stinky 6 frame with a Roco, small (15.5"), seemed perfect as a DH ride for my girlfriend. Light and chuckable...
Like the look of yours, sorry about your luck, fingers crossed sort the rear and stick on some new brakes, no problem....

I like the 2010 Stinky Six, it came with better parts than the 09 model, better feckin hubs for a start !!!!! Do you mind me asking how much you got your GF's Stinky Six for ??

Well .... I was planing to, but the rear hub has just gone and thats gonna cost me a lot to replace which means I wont be replacing the rear shock anytime soon :0( Just spent a bomb gettin the front of the bike just right and then the back end goes ... having no luck with my stinky at the mo.

Looks awesome and the new forks have shed a lot of weight from the bike.

Yeah,Front end is much much lighter, but brakes are crap ... fancy those Avid Codes on CRC, but also want a DHX Air shock, new wheels/hubs wouldnt go a miss ... just need to rob a bank now !!

I got mine for bout 900.00, they are great 'lite' freeride bikes .. not as hardcore as a Stinky but they make up for it by being very lite and easy to chuck about on the trails...

Some 55RS 2009's come with a stiffer spring, some dont. guess i was lucky and I am a big heavy fella and they are ok, could be better, but hey, they will do till they break. I have heard that you can get spring upgrades for the 55RS but cant find any where that sells them.
