top bike mate mate runs a specced up blast. know what you saying bout Hope/Thomson stuff just top drawer kit I went for Saint gear as well just cant fault it

richardswt replied... on 31 August 2010

Cheers, I believe the Blast, Cindercone and Caldera use the same frame, kinda wished I'd got the blast as I've basicly changed every component on this frame anyway and the Blast is a nicer colour.

I reckon you could probably get that saddle up a wee tad higher!
:D

richardswt replied... on 21 July 2010

LOL, believe it or not it's normally a tad higher, especially for XC stuff. I'm 6'6" and that's a 22" frame, there's loads of bikes I'd love to buy, but they seem to stop at 19-20" frames On-One 456 carbon is one.

Like the green, really nice spec you've done too. Have you used crossmark before? Fast tyre, but sketchy on anything muddy.. Am thinking of changing mine out for something with deeper tread.

richardswt replied... on 14 June 2010

Hi, never used Crossmarks before, but I only really ride when it's dry anyway. I am thinking about something a bit gripper up front, maybe a Ignitor.
