I mostly use it for trails/tow paths/commuting. The forks can soak up a fair bit and can be locked off for hill climbs. I wouldn't take this on any gnarly DH tracks as you'll most likely get thrown off.
Cheers. I've got White V8's now. Havent been riding for 6months now due tona crash that left me with a metal plate in my wrist. Will be back riding soon. Still having physio. It's a great ride of a bike!
Pretty sweet looking color combo. Like the frame and forks together. The pedals let it down a bit. They look like plastic ones but nice overall! Rate mine please
Cheers buddy. I maybe wrong but I'm pretty sure that colour combo for the forks are exclusive to this bike only. Probably why Cannondale have specified RST on one of their high end hard tails lol. Looking at all your bikes has got me wanting to save up for a second bike! A full sus.
I contacted Cannondale to ask how much travel i could squeeze on the front without messing the geometry big time because i wanted some Fox Float 140mm.I think that might be pushing it though! They never got back to me. These Deuce Airs (100mm) aren't bad at the moment and the lock out is great for hills and commuting.
XC's aren't my thing as you'll see from my profile, but this is clean and simple.IMHO i wouldn't bother with the V12's , it's an xc bike so clipless would be the way to go when your'e ready , unless you'll be doing stuff that you need to bail or are just starting out.
Have been doing a lot of single track trails which involves tree's, the odd jump and some rocky/rooty DH sections. So bailing maybe a thing of the future as i pick up speed haha

Nice looking bike.. Those pedals are lethal, had similar on mine, changing to mag platforms made a world of difference.

Hard tail or not mate, if you had any taste in bikes you know it's worth more than a 5. Each to their own!

like the look of the bike and the V12's would be great on it, my only bug bear is the forks, a nice set of rebas or fox would look mint!

Cracking bike for the price. Smooth ride that handles most things! Forks are pretty smooth for RSTs!
