I know everyone has their own preferences however for me the Transition really seems to allow me to take lines on the trail that I have previously had trouble with. I would recommend at least trying to get a demo day on one to see if you like it. I am sold on them.

The forks are Manitou Travis 180mm; they came on a Jamis Diablo (which didn't stay very long) and to be honest I have been really nicely surprised by them. So much so I took them onto the Blindside.
