here's my gt chucker x.s 1 but i upgraded my teckro mechanical disc brakes to hayes sole hydraulics and the performance is %100 better and i havent touched them since fitted!!! also i upgraded my sram gear levers and real deralier to shimano deore ....dont hesitate to ask any questions and please, rate my bike

Do you find the handlebar wide? i have a chucker and i find the bar wide.
Also, do you think it necessary to upgrade the forks to marzocchi dj3's?
Lovely bike, frame takes any sort of thrashing

well i dont find the bars wide but about the forks i think the rst launch are quite good!

wow ur gt looks awsome and i bet it rides well to with the shimano deore gearing and thoose beast's, hayes hydraulic disc brakes and those front spockets are 28t and 30t are they brill bike

my xs1 appeared to be a bit heavy but now i've learnt how to control the bike and i reakon its brilliant wen its working lol !

ive got the exact 1 but with single speed and new cranks and bottom bracket and marxzocchi dj3's cus i bent those rst's backwards and at anangle and cracked them along the bridge. but its a good bike though

thanks for the great rating though on ur gt have u got hydraulics dics brakes ? i was thinking of making mine single speed wen i broke the rear derailier but wen i bought a new gearing system (shimano deore ) i liked the ride and it was much more irrelivent because of how i use the bike but the bike is good for dirt jumping because i bought some new carbon bars which which makes it lighter . also i know how to control the bike and i can go out with my mates doing some trials biking but it aint bad along with there onza t-brids

Need to change crank set, seat, wheels, forks, stem and bars
They handle well, the good thing bout upgradeing is that if you get another bike 9times out of 10 the parts fit =-]

nice. Just got a chucker 2. Has been lying in a garage for a couple of years. What stem have you got o those bars? and are you running a 9 speed cassett? Our one will have LX hydro brakes, Deore shifters, and maybe some other stuff from one of our old xc bikes like 100mm travel Slate shock, and Deore chainset and the deore hubs with DP17 rims. What do think?
