I'm liking this bike a lot but I can't help thinking that maybe 29" wheels would be better on a rigid bike.

Hi oodboo, I'(ve tested a 29er rigid titanium, indeed it was great. The 26er are more funnny in singletrack I think, but 29er are indeed more adapted for long outings

It deserves a 10 on 10 : it's a monster on a trail. I've done some hard XC races on it and it's bullet proof and forgiving in the same time : titanium and high-quality steel are really awesome.
It also handles perfectly in the singletracks... Pure pleasure.
