Bought off my brother for ?50, he said he paid ?600 off someone long time ago. Know nowt about it just put some new tyres on it.
Says RST HI5 on front shock. loadsa stuff is Shimano breaks, gears and cables. Carbon fibre handlebars Profile Fibre RS. Ballistic bar holder. Pedal drive Shimano Deore LX and pedals Wellgo

Back from the days when you entered a xc race one day and dh the next... All on the same bike. Looks like a old romic rear shock on there too. The stem looks like a old kore one i had in about 2000.

That kind of shape stem was popular, i would of sworn it was a kore lol. To be fair you want to use this bike to test the water as to whether or not you like riding and what type of riding your going to be doing the most. Then buy a bike that fits your needs the most... This will always sell on and bring more than you paid.

all I know about the shock is it says Fastrax and its on that metal bar a mate said maybe a problem to replace if it goes. The stem says Ballistic

cheers for the thread, did a ride out today on the rd 10.5m in under 60mins quite pleased with myself. A few uphills god knows how im going to get up Rivi pike at my age lol

cheers u know the model? Its pretty clean for an old bike only a couple of marks. Wouldn't know about upgrades
