Stock. Bought Ex-demo. Pictured in a rare moment of being clean!
I've had this a year and a half now and I love it. It's been all over Scotland, the Lakes, Lancashire and the South East. It eats trail centres for breakfast even if I don't! And the big brakes and 130mm travel means it can deal with out-in-the wild riding, and the odd jump too. Though I did snap a spoke in Scotland, but the wheel survived unscathed.
New Panaracer Fire XC tyres, as the Bontrager ones it came with were HOPELESS. That's my only gripe though.
EBC green pads, cos the Avid ones lasted about 2 weeks.
UPDATE! AUG 2009. FRAME SNAPPED! Rear triangle snapped straight through just infront of the brake caliper mount whilst being ridden very gently on the road! Whole upper arm replaced at no cost under lifetime frame warranty.

Great tyres - These still look well - cant beat Trek. Sad to hear about the Frame - at least your the original owner.
A mate of mine had one go on a used Trek - and had to scrap it.
Looks sweet!
