One of the early Dale mountain bikes with 24" rear and 26" front rim. Now, it's my commuter bike to go anywhere except for the trail runs.
The only stock parts are the frame, rims and brakes.
The rest:
Chris King 1" headset
XT cranks with Middleburn rings
XT cassette - I had to change the hub as well to XT coz the original one was only for 6 speed
XT shifters
XTR brake lever
XTR front and rear mech
Thomson seatpost and stem - with adaptor from 1" to 1 1/8"
SDG BelAir saddle.
Shimano pedal (old one)

Love the 'Oldschool' Vibe, I always wanted one of these with the rollercam rear brake , needs some 'Cannondale' branding though bud, paint it powder blue or pink to get that authentic look.
LOVE IT!!

Nice sleeper you have there! Really good bits on there, but cleverly looks like an old banger from a distance.

? what do you do on it, looks like if you hit a stone it would fall apart

Hahaha that's a funny one!
Obviously you haven't seen an old dale yet, in fact you're not even born when this bike came out. The chainstay and seatstay of this bike is freaking huge and please read the description and comments above, it's for commuting not trail riding!

thats a really old looking bike. the frame could maybe look a liitle better with some nice cannondale stickers on it. possibly black ones? 9/10 would have been a 10 but decided to deduct a mark for being a little too plain. sorry!

Cheers mate! I was thinking about putting the stickers on it but then since this is my commuting bike, i.e. leaving it outside the banks, sainsbury, post office etc, I was afraid to draw attention to all those thieves. But yeah, you're right, I'd prob'ly gonna look for those stickers very soon.

A 10 coz I built it. Even before the RFX and the Handjob. Got it from a mate with only frame, brakes and rims. It sure climb as a goat on Bristol hilly roads now that I only have 2 chainrings instead 3, losing the smallest one.
