T can see your love of attention to detail goes for your bike too i really like the red anodising against the blue,and at 24lb very respectable.

i wouldn't have one myself as it wouldn't suit my riding but as something you have put together i like it, it's a bit different to what most people throw on their bike it looks neat a(spec wise i mean) but it looks neat and well thought out, that must be pretty light, do you know what it weighs?
And what is your opinion on the forks?

Thanks for your input, I'm predominantly an xc rider and 11 stone wet through so I wanted a light-ish build from moving from a light hardtail. Funny you mention the forks as I use SID's on my other ride and the manitou came in a tad heavier but have beefier stanchions so a little less flex under hard cornering. I'm still getting the balance dialled in but they feel quite positive. I picked them up for £120 2cd hand still under warranty. Ideally I would have gone for for reba team but couldn't find a cheap set. As for weight its coming in just over 24lb so quite respectable for a full sus but could be lighter. Bought frame as a cheap intro to full sus. Sram x0 shifters and rear mech. Avid elixir cr carbon discs. FSA carbon bars and stem. raceface deus h/set and crank. Manitou minute mrd forks. Mavic xc717 rims on xt hubs. selle italia carbonio saddle and truvativ team carbon seatpost. just finished re-building the shock this morning
