Wow! That's frickin awesome dude. Have you tried a Rohloff speehub? I know with the gearbox your weight is more central n all but maybe lower maintenance. I've heard scare stories about the Dhi if a chain snaps....

And I thought I was unlucky when my chain skipped aproaching boxes in my local skatepark a few years ago. Bet it's all worth it whilst it is running as it should though!

Not heard of that I'll look into it! I've had one nexus break already and quite a few chains. It completely locked on my once on the approach to the double a cwm carn, sudsequently slammed and broke my scaphoid!
