gonch you know i love this bike(cos ive ridden it) your arm in the photos kinda freaks me out lol. ive finally put me stinky on ere av a look. lata dude
Here's the thing Daisy. If a bike like this gets a really low rating it's always going to be removed. The amount of cash someone has to spend on their bike doesn't come into the equation at all. It's all about the bike. If it were a full susser apollo pretending to be some thing it's not then a 3,2, or 1 would be spot on. It may well not deserve a 10/10 in your opinion but if there's no real justification for such a low vote then it'll be deleted.
ok - whats the point of having a rating system of 1-10 if anything below a 5 is removed!
i honestly think this bike is a low score - £6000 of a one huck wonder. you obviously have too much cash to spend.
i spent 6 grand on a custom hucker so it wont break, and get a lifetime warranty on the frame... and this is one of 5 bikes i have, DH. 4X, Street, XC and BMX. differant horse for a differant cource.
looks amazing - Ireminds me of when we were kids and had bikes with extra long forks...hmm..maybe you should put proper cow horns on to finish it off! I want to ride it.
oh right, does the paint still adhere to it during flexing of the spring? i sprayed an old shock spring myself before and fu*ked it right up, it all came off and looked crap. yours looks really nice though.
Awesome! You give them the geometry and that's all or do you get a rough sketch of what they plan for you? Reminds me of a Brooklyn in terms of burliness.
Kevinr08: Middleburn cranks. Light n strong. Best of British.
basically, i gave them a rough idea of what i want. head angle, top tube length, frame size, what fork i want to use and travel. and this is what they came up with, but this was over some time, got pics as they were building it... and its freekin awsome to ride. cant fault them.
