I agree with antop34... Check out Cannondale website at least and look at the prophet. A simple frame to make up and it won't look like a Halford's Apollo which will get slated. Plus Cannondales tend to get a pretty good rating amongst us folk. Gotta give you a 4 for effort, but frankly - It's not something I'd buy or ride.

revolvor replied... on 12 August 2008

Oh come on £30 was a bargain, my lad spent £30 on brake pads !

Maybe you should have got a cutting list for a santa cruz or orange bike, rather than an Apollo!
Still if it was home made then fair play. Also, how did you 'make' the cable guides!
Enjoy riding it

slcoldstone replied... on 9 December 2009

who would spend 3k on a bike just to pedal everywhere? i would spend 3k on a bike to do some intense DH not to ride around town

konastinky888 replied... on 13 August 2008

and y the hell r u on this site for then if u dont like bikes. i still think your a bullsh*tter. and creating two usernames just to look like other people agree with your stupid narrow minded comments is just sad. and unless im mistaken this is a site about mountain biking not motor bikes so y are you prattling on about rubbsh motor bikes for? no-one cares.

konastinky888 replied... on 13 August 2008

if you lie about making your bike whats to say your not lieing about your other toys? drag racing car, lol, you probably got it from toys'r'us.

revolvor replied... on 12 August 2008

Gosh no need to throw your rattle out of the pram Stinky - You havent a clue, add to this a Seeley Suzuki 500, Spondon 350lc yam and more
Why the f**k would I want to spend 3k on a bike and Pedal everywhere,I aint 12 anymore.
I've spent more on my GMC 8/71 blower (look it up on google because you havent a clue unless its named Hope, Mavic or Halo on xbox360) than that half rickshaw of yours LOVL (Laughs out VERY loud)

konastinky888 replied... on 12 August 2008

you are the worlds biggest bullsh*tter, i bet u aint got none of that stuff coz u cant afford a good bike and have to lie and say you made it yourself just to cover for having the worlds worst bike. and whats worse is that you actually think its good!

revolvor replied... on 12 August 2008

Thanks for the kind comments mate but it was £30 from a car boot, I could make a frame if I wanted quite easily but would rather spend my cash on my Drag racing car a Supermoto and my RGV 500 Suzuki, I lost interest in pedal power at 15 then discovered mopeds LOL

those 2 guys at the bottom were a bit harsh imo, it is indeed a pretty awful bike, but as a you made it entirely yourself that takes it up in my eyes!

And "daves channel 111" your constant "plz rate my bike plzplzplz" is really getting on my nerves...

slcoldstone replied... on 9 December 2009

car boot, at a rippoff price of £30, apparentwa?

konastinky888 replied... on 12 August 2008

wether its home made or not its a 1 /10 as a bike
i am HEAVILY reminded of halfords with the rear end nd single pivot system
frame seems very familiar cough "apollo" cough
everything about it seems like a cheaop halfords or supermarket bike
cranks
pedals
brakes
wheels
rear shok
front forks

if u made the frame ur self NICE work, it rly does look prfesional, hence ma refering uit to halfords
great metal work
but its just a shit bike

slcoldstone replied... on 9 December 2009

konastinky888 replied... on 12 August 2008

revolvor replied... on 12 August 2008

Shit bike maybe but I did pay £30 for it from a boot sale - One term comes to mind "All the gear NO Idea!" LOL

konastinky888 replied... on 12 August 2008

and thanks for rating my bike 2/10 in revenge over my poor rating of your bike

konastinky888 replied... on 12 August 2008

and what the hell is that on the seat?

konastinky888 replied... on 12 August 2008

if thats true, good work, why not explain that at the description? it looks basic, but if you did really weld it that would be why. its a bit doubtful because it does look like a halfords bike thats had the paint stripped, but if its true you should take that comment as a complement of your work. is it your 1st attempt at making a bike?

revolvor replied... on 11 August 2008

i built the bike in my workshop whith alloy and a welder
