My beloved hardrock was stolen april last year and my boyfriend (middlemast319) replaced it for me with this,i call it
"the git"
it is a lovely bike to ride and i would,nt go back to a hardrock now but the spec is not brilliant,
please! please! please! does anyone have any suggestions about what i should do with this beast.?
bearing in mind i am planning on keeping it util my boyfriend replaces his cannondale prophet>> ha ha ha ha!!!!!

I think the GT is a much nicer bike than the Hardrock. What you've got is not bad for the money. Most of the kit on it is pretty good but some could be improved...depending on budget. If it was mine I would be tempted to change the crank set to an XT (good value & light) and find some quality bars, stem and seat post. Then maybe a bit of colour coordination with seat, grips, QRs and clamps.
I'm giving you a 9 in anticipation you'll try and make it that bit more special. Good luck and have fun!

These are very good bikes... although the parts arnt the best..dont do to much to it. Just wait for his prohet..lol. If you want to see what you can do check out my 08 version heavily changed. the look at my atomlab..as thats what basically what happened to it.. changed all the parts then bought the atomlab frame and swapped it all over..
