Bit confused with this one! You've got the makings for a great and unconventional XC racer here with the RC31's and Spinergies and agree certain upgrades like groupsets and decent knobblies. Until then its stuck with a bit of an identity crisis, sorry only a 7 for now.

The all black and then that blue wheel set look really nice. Is it just for getting around? Put some clip less pedals on and some xc tyres you would have an awesome race xc machine. Still really nice bike though.

My Giant MCM only weighs 8.9kg or 19.62lbs, with a Rc39 suspension fork. You can easily shave some weight off of your bike (replace the LX stuff) although I think you would be better off buying a carbon road bike, you are almost there with this bike!

ye i want to change the groupset soon, and stuff like the rubbish bars weigh it down. Road bikes are proper wafty, i can put some knobblys on and take this off road :)

Pace RC31, Spinergy Xyclone, Avid BB7, KCNC Ti Lite post, LX groupset (will be upgraded at some point

21.5 lbs, and falling not to shabby :)
