Good bike for a beginner the things you need to do to this bike is strip all parts not needed e.g. get single speed also better quality forks and hydraulic brakes also try colour co-ordinate the bike into two tone pretty light bike when fully stripped mine had 1 rear brake , single speed , all posts and brake boss grinded off smoooooooth frame and you got yourself an amazing light as foook bike
just as long as you get rid of those horid rst forks lol and make sure its a 180mm disk on the rear as a minimum just for the stopping power but if you get the correct gearing on the single speed it sometimes makes it better than gears but its all preferance up to the rider
