spec isnt great and the forks look waaaay too long for that bike, but I bet it rides well :)

Rides great lol, I'm just dreading the day the head tube snaps cause the original forks were 75mm and these are 135mm lol. Its only a weekend slag so it doesn't take that much of a beating.

Cheers for your vote.

abit of a mix match of parts, the tyres and wheel set arnt really very pedal friendly and the rest is pretty much xc kit, i take it your frame has no caliper mounts on the rear its a bitch that, i had a old marin like that

superwol replied... on 6 December 2008

you cant beat maxxis for grip i love my high rollers, never been a fan of tioga`s got them once with a 05 stab supreme and they came straight off, i think you can now get adapters to convert the rear to take discs, but if your happy with v`s there is little need

Confused_Andy replied... on 6 December 2008

Yeah well what i wanted from the old girl was a XC machine which will take a bit of a beating... The wheels are very strong but weigh a tonne, the tyres are slowly being sorted, i've now realised that buying tioga's were a big mistake after trying maxxis.

The rear has no disk mounts, so i've just stuck a new v-brake on the back, does its job very well.
