being the same as my bike, i would suggest u change the sprocket and free wheel staright off, original gearin was total gash on mine, though if u do u will have to go compltley brakeless or just run with a front brake because the chain will rub on the brake calipre (due to the bright sparks at wethepeople mouting it there ) i must admit i dont liek that colour scheme at all though.
nice bike mate . u shud change ur front wheel coz 2 of my mates have same bike and there front wheel started to snake a got buckled badley and they are propa gud riders . plz rate my we the people nova
thanks mate, when i get round to it im goin to change the wheelset, probably the sprocket as well, but the wheelset is on the top of my list when i can afford it
its up to you how much you want to spend. i dont ride bmx's and i dont really no much about them so i cant really help you. what is your gear ratio at the moment?
k
how much do you think i should spend on new wheelset
and also don't you need to change rear hub, rear sprocket and front sprocket to keep the same gearing (i like the gearing)
Looks good, suggested upgrades would be: seat, grips, bar ends (cnc'd), front sprocket. rear tire (rubber too skinny) or rear rim (back wheel looks odd to me [could be the pic]) or leave it how it is (my suggestions are for aesthetic reasons)
hey you dont have to change the hub to change gearing so you can have smaller sprocket you can just get a new driver with the size back sprocket u need insted spending money on a new hub
you only have to change the rear hub if you get a larger/smaller front sprocket, even then you don't necessarily have to change the hub, just the driver. you can also just get a new rim and have it relaced (w/ white spokes ;) if your hub is in decent shape. whether or not the front rim matches the rear doesn't matter (my other bmx has a black rear rim and a red front rim) what it comes down to is that it's your bike and you should customize it to your own personal style (it's really the only way you will be satisfied w/ the final product) Good Luck

AMAZING, but it needs alot of work lol basically:
New wheelset,
New front sproket
Half link chain
And it could do with a nice spray job :)
LewisMonteith replied... on 28 November 2008
i would get new wheelset, it will end up cheaper and take less time

mikemike replied... on 16 November 2008

what would you upgrade first
don't you have to change the rear hub as well if you change the front sprocket to keep the gearing the same
