Very nice bike. It was hard choosing between the stumpy and the enduro when I got my new bike, I'm still not sure if I got the right one. The new stumpys look excellent.
cheers, i haven't seen this bike for six weeks, as the juicy brakes have sprung a leek!, and my local bike shop appears to be incapable of ordering and oil seal. but am now looking at santa cruz bullit frames on ebay. strip down the GF and use the bits to build an FR with 160-180 travel. unless the wife finds out!!!!.
very nice bike indeed, i bought a specialized xc pro, wanted the one u have but didnt have funds, saved a while sold the xc and bough a s works carbon enduro, excellent bikes the specialized!!!! top 10
aaaaaaaargh. i wanted the ENDURO! hence enduro star. like you couldn't afford it at the time, but if you look at my thread i'm in a dilema at the moment. sj or rift zone?.
its much nicer than the hifi, you could lose the reflectors in the wheels though and since you mentioned the mantlepeice, is that a rotten apple in the center?
hey that apple was fresh aug 2008 (bear in mind this pic is fresh out of the wrapper bike, looks dirty now no bell or refolectors) added a crud catcher as being blind a speed wasn't helping! I think if i still have a job next year i'll get an enduro, i'd like a little more travel. cheers.
cheers man. the frames never look as sexy in XL as the med or small, but going for the first ride on dec 19. (its been living at my brothers in the dales since it was picked up!)
great spec there man, if you were wanting to go at something gnarlier you could always whack a coil shock and some sturdier rims on. It takes a lot more than youd think to break a bike frame, especially an expensive one like that
wow. thanks, didn't expect a rate. but i got it cos i snapped the chain stay on my gary fisher hifi, it made me a little wary of bikes that were a little to the side of the stage, therefore tried and tested spec stumpy.
