lush bike nice colour and you dont want a reli bike chain ring cos its a park bike and it would hit the lips and you need easier gearing

i agree you cant get any real speed with a ring that small 38 and little 12t sprocket but i just prefer the fersitiliy of rear gears

peteb121 replied... on 15 December 2008

have any of you actually ridden this gearing, its not easy, believe me.......25:12 on a 26" bike is good for everything, and as for versatility, thats fair enough but once youve ridden single speed and enjoyed the simplicity, the reliability, and the fact theres no noise....then you appreciate it.

'sok

I dont get why people have gear ratios that low though

peteb121 replied... on 15 December 2008

how low??? its a 25;12 thats normal mate, its great for singletrack, just means it looks better than a 36 t ring.
