It only appears clean as I had just hosed it down! The white Coves come up nicely. If you saw it today after 3 days at Innerliethen you would not think it clean.

The Vivid is really good after I got the right ti spring and had it re-shimmed by TFTuned. Now I have got it dialled in it feels incredible. I love the high and low speed rebound.

Cheers. I lived in Aberdeen for 3 years before moving here so Pitfichie was my regular haunt. These days it's Innerleithen instead.
As for sticking with Cove well......is there any other?

Well I am often the only downhiller at Innerliethen that's clipped! Been riding for +17 years and clipped in for most of that so too late to change now. Tried the 5:10/Easton pedals combo which is good but just felt too insecure. Oh well if it's good enough for Peaty.......

Colour isn't important to me, the ride is. However when you see my Shockerin the flesh it is colourful as it has red/blue anodised parts and silver bits too.

Yep. It's a Nuke Proof ti spring. Originally I had an obtanium, ridiculously light spring on but the adapter made a horrible crunching noise. Still awaiting obtaniums diagnosis as I don't think they believed me!

It is fairly light at around 40lbs. I could get it a fair bit lighter but then things would start to break!
