Ohhhhhh i luv these, wish i had one soo much
bet that frame can take so much abuse.
and dude no pressure to get discs as long as ure happy with V's thats what matters.

thanx :D it handles a fair bit of abuse, but i still get scarred of using it for some of the bigger stuff =/ and yeah im ok with the V's but im gunna change them for sure when i have the money, but now i have to get a front wheel because the stock one isnt disc compatible =/
good bike to start off with, but you do need discs, i think your fork and hubs should already be able to take them so its not that bigga job, just funds, you wont regret discs there far better than "Vs" and are not affected by weather
fair enough, i wanted to change the forks when i have the spare money anyway and i quickly worked out if i wanted decent forks im going to have to get disc brakes, thnx for your advise :)
Alright for a starter, plenty of upgrades a better fork to enable disc upgrade would be a start..try ebay for some Fox or Bombers..you can also get some Hayes Stroker Rydes on there cheap
to be honest disc arn't much ore powerful, unles your using 8in disc's. the main advantage is consistancy, disc's arn't affected by the wet as much. Hydrulic's over cable's mean you get practically no 'drag' in the system so you don't waste energy at the lever.
yeah cheers, i have only been moutain biking a year and up until now i have had what is known as "halfords bikes" so im quite chuffed with this one, im definatly going to invest in some fox vanilla forks when i can afford it, and some disc brakes, but the brakes are no biggy, i have always rid with v brakes due to bmxing before so its not somthing bothering me too much at the moment :)
only had this bike since christmas, but it already seems awesome, and does everything it should do easly, planning to customize little bits over the next year, but it is fine how it is for now.

Frame design reminds me of the original repack clunkers, very retro.

your right i never noticed that be4 :P frmae shape makes it a night mare to secure to the bike rack, all the fastening keep sliding up the frame.
