i think i nearly had most of them the couple of years i was at college and worked in the bike shop, i remember buying a Timberline and Tequesta for some birds i was going out with around the time. I guess i rode and demo'ed those i didnt own, the STS thermo was the most entertaining as the triple crown forks had restrictive turning due to the siz eht eplastic tube frames had to be to gain strength. As a result the team riders tried shaving the top tube down, and were breaking a lot of frames as a result, lmao, what was ever wrong with single crown forks, the moopets, but to be fair the speed they ride at on big rocky stuff, you cant have much up stairs
Grabbed a cheap ChromeAlloy frame from work to punt on some old and tired components to see if i could make a few quid for the next project, did ok i remember rightly

Rating your own 'chines, its a laugh
Lots of tired old cheap components, to be fair "as designed", but over all nothing at all special

The original Avalanche was a decent frame. just didn't have many redeaming feature's in GT's rather large line up of bikes.
