built by me... Brand X dirt frame, RST launch forks, Gusset chute cable disks, Halo combat rear and Halo tornado front rims built onto deore hubs. Kore stem and bars, FSA dh cranks, 'ride it!' 26inch rules! seat and tioga factory fs100 tyres.
i know the spec is not the best going but it is built as i can afford it. it handles well. it is a little taller than some like a street frame but that is because i'm over 6ft and find a small frame just to tight.
**Now added a white halflink chain and gusset, slimjim peddles. rides really smooth....

can this only be run as a single speed or with gears
and btw nice bike!
thegardener replied... on 3 September 2010
the frame has space and has a hanger and cable runs so yes you could build it with gears if you wanted.

I love it, I prefer gears, but if you just use it for street then I guess you don't need them! otherwise I would give it a 10! nice bike mate!

Are those cranks the FSA maximus dh ones?
If so, how did you fit them? as far as i can tell, the bb is too small for the frame's bottom bracket...
apart from that, sweet bike, keep it up

nice but needs a lower frame.. what sproket is that.
thegardener replied... on 27 January 2009
cheers, as i said above, i need a taller frame as i'm tall, its just to tight on a lower one.... the sproket and cranks are FSA dh, they where from chain reaction, came with 2 chain rings and the bash. not expencive but so far are very good.

looks very much like a merlin cycles frame sprayed black. i used to have one and its ok for the money (about £80 if it is a merlin).
thegardener replied... on 23 January 2009
i duno, i guess it could be the same frame, this one was from chain reaction. brand x do have a website of their own. it was not expencive though, but seams good for the money.
