I remember when Merlin first started selling these back in the early 90's, originally as a no-name frame, then later building them up with stock parts and selling them as Merlins, almost bought one myself too.

Nice frame,good spec,but take the mudguard off,looks wrong and you'll look cooler with a muddy back...
