I suppose it's all down to how much people want to spend on upgrades. Not everyone has mountains of cash to throw at their bikes and have to make do with whats available in their price range.
The Domains are a really nice fork for the price - very responsive and are really stiff giving good tracking through the really rough stuff. Downsides - a bit heavy and you need to use a ton of grease on the maxle to stop it jamming in the hub.
Yeah, tyres were Nevagal/blue groove in 2.5s. I,m now running WTB Timberwolves which are better for the surfaces I ride on in my local woods - less drag and grip better when cranking thru corners. Don't really notice the bb/seat tube thing when your caning a hill tho lol
Thx, its a sweet bike for hitting drops and stuff, have now put Saint chainset on and it feels even better on landing, although I need to build my bottle up again after having a big accident lol
Giant faith 3 with RockShox Domain Forks (180mm travel) and Shimano Deore brakes with 203mm Hayes rotors. Saint cranks and home made chain device made with parts left over in the shed

niiice rig mate, caN YOU COMMENT BACK WITH HOW MUCH/WERE YOU GOT IT FROM PLEASE?
Belly replied... on 19 August 2008
Ta.
It's a couple of years old now, I doubt you'd get one from a shop unless they've got one gathering dust. Cost me £1100 before upgrades.

Nice rig, how have you found the Domain's? I'm thinking of using them on my new bike.

That looks a solid rig, tyres look huge.Seat tube does look strange though not in line with the bb.

nice - did you custom build it or swap the forks?
Belly replied... on 6 March 2007
Bike came with drop off triples on, which are pants. Swapped em out as soon as Domains were available

Faith frames looks odd to me (something to do seat tube not lining up) - nice spec though and I bet she rides well.
