Avalanche DHF 8 fork (HK kit) and Avalanche DHS shock (Hi-Lo compresion kit), Gustav
brakes, RaceFace Turbine LPDH cranks, MRP sys 1 with custom machined E13
Supercharger, Syncros Mental SS Pedals, Azonic Hammer Stem, Azonic Chubbie PDW bars,
ODI Rogue lock-on grips, Flite Saddle, Chris King ISO hubs on Mavic EX729's using DT
Competition spokes and Pro-Lock Nipples, Minion 2.5 40a front and 2.35 42a rear, XTR

its simmply function over form, what would you rather spend a couple grand on, a: a bike which looks gorgeous and snapps clean in half after the first jump or b: this one, which in my mind looks alright and will last longer than yourself

kylep943 replied... on 9 June 2009
everyone says bikes have to much travel but when you see short travel bikes racing there usualy right down at the back of the field. thats y you want 8+" if your goin to race
diamondratuk replied... on 14 June 2007
It's only got 8 inch's at each end, (saying that mind, you can ride every single DH track in this country with 6 inch's. Even Fort William.)

skinheadjc replied... on 14 June 2007
I've got a set of race face cranks my self, and there great (if a little heavy), its just the redness i dont like.
diamondratuk replied... on 14 June 2007
Thanks for the 10.
I've had that crank set for over 5 years now (an original RaceFace Turbine LP DH with Signature square taper BB). And I still cant kill it.... Find me an ISIS set up that that can put up with that kind of abuse and I might change the red cranks.
