An original old school Joe Murray Kona that I am slowly doing up with the original M900 XTR (which I think is the best looking that the big S ever made) U brake is a bitch mind. Schwalbe CX Pro 1.125 Tyres (real Fast) before anyone asks. XTR M900, XT, RaceFace, Xlite. More changes to come.

its a 1990 bike, crappy V's, purple handle bars and frame that looks like its made out of sticks, what do you expect??
diamondratuk replied... on 2 February 2010
It's got 'V' brakes? Thats news to me, and I own it. Last time I Looked it had an Exage 'U' brake on the rear and some XTR canties on the front. and just because a frame is made out of 1" tube don't mean its weak. Canondale messed about with some 3" stuff, funny thing happened, most of them died as they where real weak. This thing is older than you are salarsatti123 and is still going strong. learn about bikes before you type uneducated crap about em. Nuff said.

classic. someone i know had one of these when i was younger. i almost bought one myself last year, but the person wouldn't post it. you can't go wrong with a flite and a set of P2's. if you had a cattleprod on it i would have given it a 10. genius.

I rated this bike an 8 because it's not very original. Joe Murray Fire Mountains are great bikes with extremely high build quality. I converted mine to street use with slicks and fenders. It's very reliable and light weight. Those that ranked on it don't know what they are talking about.
