this is the bike i've got! though components are completely different. Have Marzocchi Z3s with Marzocchi Bomber Z3s. I had a USE seatpost but it snapped the other day (painful). I've also got the oldest Hope Disc brakes on it that you have ever seen! I'll get a picture up at some point.
its a nice colour but the forks look horrible though, im guessing they are "retro" but the look of them is not good compared to newer stuff. it looks to be in amazingly good condition from here considering its 10 years old. i cant see any chips or marks of any kind. really the only hints of its age are the forks looks and the tyres and pedals look well used too.
Cheers for the rating, would you believe those forks were £600 back in the day, you’re right though they do look f**k ugly it don’t help having the chunky hydraulic rim brakes bolted onto the back of them. The frame and forks are still in good shape but they’re about the only original bits it’s been through loads of other components. To be honest I haven’t ridden this bike since I bought my Patriot I only got it back out because the patriot is in bits for a major rebuild and loads of new shiny bits I’ve ridden it all winter and it shows.
Like the Marin it looks like proper DH Monster
And as for the Norco – Sweet!!! Start um young!!! My lads 5 and he’s a nutter he saw your lads bike and wanted his on too so I’ve just uploaded it for him.
