interesting bike, good component setup! not too sure bout the whole twin shock thing tho, my bike only has one shock on back and works lovely......needless extra? dunno,.... still, don't wanna sound negative cos i aint rode it....! could be a way forward!

There's no doubting it's potential. I came up with a concept for a dual shock DH bike about 11year's ago, but never did anything with it, however as such I can see why you would do it. multi main pivot's mean being able to tackle different terrain by having the advantages of high pivot's (good for big hit's) and low pivot's (better for smaller hit's and reducing pedal feed back or body influenced suspension action/reduction) In short suspension that isn't compromised in any way other than extra wieght.

Im not convinced with these yet, why does a bike need 2 shocks?
I get why Karpiel do it with 12" + travel bikes.
Seems a bit of a gimmick to me.
Who knows i might be wrong, and all future bikes might go this way.

We all love our bikes and rate them 10,
those who are honest may bring them down a point or two.

The components used on this TEAM BIKE are SECOND TO NONE.

It is currently being ridden at all the UCI events 2009.

I've ridden just about every top quality bike out there
(SantaCruz, Yeti, Iron Horse, Norco, Orange etc etc) through my involvement with the bike industry and need to say I have yet to find ANY other bike that achieves momentum, balance and acceleration that the Elite 9 does.

You are looking at the future of DH.
